The culmination of the groundbreaking FAO Pilot Study on policy indicators' impact within the agriculture sector of former Soviet Union countries marked a significant milestone with the final workshop held in Minsk. Under the Monitoring and Analysis of Food and Agricultural Policies (MAFAP) project, a collaborative effort involving the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia, and national researchers, this initiative unveiled critical insights into the interplay between policies and market dynamics.
Covering Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, and Moldova, the study investigated the quantitative policy indicators' influence on economic activities within the agriculture sector.
