Highlighting Successful Partnerships with International Organizations and the Impact of 'Strengthening Higher Agribusiness Education in Georgia' Project
📌📣GCAD has been implementing educational and economic development projects in the region for 15 years already, cooperating with donors and international organizations such as: European Union (EU); US Department of Agriculture (USDA); Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Slovenian Institute of Agriculture (KIS); International Agribusiness Research and Education Center of Armenia (ICARE), Agribusiness Teaching Center (ATC) and etc.
📌📣Among other successful projects, we are extremely proud of the project implemented in 2006-2017 years, with the funding and support of the US Department of Agriculture: “Strengthening Higher Agribusiness Education in Georgia”. Under the project, more than
6️⃣0️⃣ Georgian students were given the opportunity to receive scholarships and study at the American University through the Texas Agribusiness and Marketing University curriculum. In addition, within the framework of cooperation with three universities (Georgian Agrarian University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, Shota Rustaveli State University), Georgian students had the opportunity to learn and improve their English, engage in cognitive and educational activities and study tours. ✅
