Advancing Georgian Wine Sector and Wine Tourism for Sustainable Development
📍 TheSeaOfWine project has successfully completed the second quarter of its implementation.
📑 The most highlighted activities which were carried out during August 2020-March 2021 are as follows:
1️⃣ 🔍 Detailed analysis of Georgian wine sector, including key stakeholders and beneficiaries, country's position on the international market and local wine-making traditions.
2️⃣ 🍇 Analysis of the most popular Georgian vine varieties, concentrating on those, used for commercial purposes.
3️⃣📲 Preparation of the country level database which includes detailed information about local wineries, travel agencies and HORECA businesses, as well as wine festivals and events and other tourist attractions in the country.
ℹ️ About Project:
🌊🍷 General objective of TheSeaOfWine project is to promote and popularize wine tourism and support its sustainable development on the country level. Project is funded by the European Union and is carried out by the representatives of the following 4 countries: Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine and Greece.
