Agricultural Statistics Development Project

The objective of this project was to collaborate with the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT) for enhancing agricultural data accuracy. This was achieved by strengthening GEOSTAT's capacity to collect, analyze, and disseminate agricultural statistics.

This initiative was groundbreaking and distinct, leading to GEOSTAT adopting the CAPI method for data collection in 2017, replacing the previous paper-based approach. Additionally, GCAD provided GEOSTAT with tablets and digital tools to support these efforts.
